Mossie Basson is our conservation manager. He and his dedicated team have devised an extensive conservation management plan and successfully implemented numerous innovative projects such as alien vegetation clearing, stabilizing eroded areas and re-establishing indigenous plant and animal species. They have compiled an extensive database listing
these vulnerable species, which other land owners in the area can in turn use to initiate similar programmes. The Pride Project which introduces underprivileged youth to the veld, and volunteer guide training programmes are just two exciting spin-offs of our conservation team’s long term vision.
